This local institution is also known as the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort, and it’s located directly beachfront on the preferred West-end of Panama City Beach.

The Sandpiper is probably best known for having so many different on-site amenities, activities, and planned entertainment all on-site, and most of it included in the price of your stay.

Even if you didn’t know the name of the Resort you will have heard about the legendary World Famous Tiki Bar.

Often imitated but never duplicated. A handful of other Tiki Bars have come and gone over the years, but the Tiki Bar at the Sandpiper Beacon remains the original and best. Because as everybody knows, the real is always better than the bootleg copy…

The Tiki Bar is located right on the beach.

Literally.

As in, your toes are in the sand, and you are surrounded by palm trees.

While it is another amenity of the Resort, along with the lazy river ride, multiple pools, waterslides, mini golf, on-site restaurants etc. It is also open to the public too. So you don’t have to be a guest of the Resort go stop by and check it out.

Which leads us neatly to why you should definitely do just that…

If it’s actually possible to sum up the essence of a place in a drink, then it is possible to taste Panama City Beach in a glass. And the only place you can do that, is the Tiki Bar at the Sandpiper Beacon.

Two words: Tiki. Punch.

This legendary elixir is only served at the Sandpiper Beacon Tiki Bar. Tiki Punch is an ice cold, refreshing cocktail (also available without alcohol) that just feels so right surrounded by palm trees, blue skies, and the 1,000ft of private beach. It’s also the only way to get your hands one one of Panama City Beach’s most sought after souvenirs; the classic Pineapple Cup.

It’s hard to put our finger on precisely what makes this the epitome of a Panama City Beach, FL vacation. It might be the magic of combining four different rums in just the right proportion.
