Planning for Spring Break 2013 in Panama City Beach, Florida has long since begun. The ‘Spring Break Capital of the World’ will once again play host to the largest student event of the year, and will no doubt showcase some of the best musical talent in the land.

Last year, performers including J.Dash, Young Joc, Kaya Jones, The Cataracs, Luke Bryan and Eric Church played to massive crowds. We’ve seen Drake, Flo Rida, Lil’ Wayne and 50 Cent all have their time in the spring break spotlight. Now it’s time to pass the torch, once again, to a new generation of top pop talent.

Artists like T. Mills, A$AP Rocky, Dev, Calvin Harris, and Fun – who’s song “We Are Young” was by far the anthem track of Spring Break 2012 – are all potential performers for 2013.

Country Music in Panama City Beach is also in high demand. Southern superstar Luke Bryan is so popular; he’s performed three straight years and even named one of his albums “Spring Break With my Friends”, paying homage to the college crowds that have boosted his fame. He’s quickly becoming a spring break legend. Another hot commodity is Eric Church. The Grammy Award nominee witnessed the country craze with his own eyes as he played to a packed house at Spinnaker Beach Club.

Then there’s the DJs. Skrillex and Avicii are two of the most in-demand electronic performers at the moment, and it’s certainly not out of the question to think that we could see either one of them come to Panama City Beach.
